How to use the Invoice Due Date Calendar

Use this to plan a sequence of invoices issued on the same monthly anchor day. It keeps the date required by the entered net term separate from a possible next workday for operational planning.

  1. What to enter

Enter the first issue date, net calendar days, number of invoices, and any closure dates that matter to your workflow. The issue date is repeated monthly using the original day where available.

  2. Worked example

An invoice issued 31 January with net 30 is nominally due Sunday 2 March 2025; the next workday is Monday 3 March.

  3. How to read the result

Nominal due is the issue date plus the entered net days. Next workday moves forward past Saturday, Sunday, and supplied closures. Compare both columns with the invoice terms before scheduling a payment or reminder.

How the result is worked out

Add the stated net days to each monthly issue date. Show that nominal due date and, separately, the next Monday–Friday not listed as a holiday.

What to check

A next-workday date is only a planning comparison. Contracts may keep weekend due dates or use different holiday calendars and receipt times.

A common mistake to avoid

Do not replace the nominal date with the adjusted one unless the contract permits it. An unlisted bank holiday, receipt cutoff, or time zone can change when payment is actually considered received.

Only dates you enter as holidays or closures are excluded; no country calendar is fetched.

This tool calculates in your browser. The dates you enter are not sent to the Nirmion API.

Questions to check

Does this change the legal invoice due date?

No. It shows both dates so you can apply the terms of the specific invoice.

Which holidays does the next-workday column use?

Only the dates you enter. No national, banking, or regional calendar is downloaded or inferred.

What happens to invoices anchored on the 31st?

A month without that day uses its final calendar day for the issue date in this model; later months return to the original anchor when possible.
