How to use the Recurring Charge Annualizer

Use this to see the yearly weight of small recurring charges that arrive on different schedules. It is useful before reviewing a subscription list or setting a monthly reserve.

  1. What to enter

Write one uniquely named charge per line with amount and cadence code: weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. Use the amount actually charged in one currency.

  2. Worked example

A 12.00 monthly stream costs 144.00 per year; a 40.00 yearly cloud plan brings the combined annual cost to 184.00.

  3. How to read the result

The annual column is the direct frequency conversion. Monthly equivalent helps compare items on a common scale but is not the actual billing amount.

Method

Multiply each charge by 52, 12, 4, or 1 according to its cadence. Divide each annual cost by 12 for a rounded monthly equivalent.

What to check

Weekly is modeled as 52 occurrences per year. Promotions, tax changes, leap years, skipped bills, and billing-date drift are excluded.

Avoid this mistake

Treating the monthly equivalent of a yearly plan as a monthly bill; the provider may still collect the full annual amount at once.

Calculations run locally in your browser. No entered values are sent to the Nirmion API.
