TEMPORARY MEDIA WORKSPACE / VIDEO SPEED CHANGER
Make a video play from half speed to twice speed while adjusting its audio timing, then download a synchronized MP4.
The processor required by this tool is available, and this worker can accept a temporary job.

The selected bytes are sent only to the Nirmion media API for this request. Processing uses a private temporary workspace rather than permanent catalogue storage.
Server-side source and result files are removed when the response stream closes. Re-downloads use the result Blob retained only in this browser tab.
Nirmion writes a separately named result containing nirmion_tools and never overwrites the selected source file.
Know the product contract
Every media page documents the accepted source, the selected FFmpeg transformation, the output container, and the limits that can affect the job.
Use a source with understandable motion and speech. Very fast motion or very slow speech may be less useful after retiming.
FFmpeg adjusts video presentation timestamps and applies a matching audio tempo filter so the streams remain synchronized.
Compare measured source and output durations, then check lip sync and speech clarity.
Plain-language method
Retiming changes motion cadence and audio character. The tempo filter preserves pitch better than simple resampling, but extreme changes can still sound processed.

Choose 0.5x or 0.75x to slow down, or 1.25x, 1.5x, or 2x to speed up the whole timeline.

Container and codec
Output is H.264 MP4 with AAC audio when present. Frame timing and audio tempo are rewritten; source chapters and subtitle timings are not retained.
Know the boundary
The tool does not create speed ramps, freeze frames, or different rates for separate sections. Use a timeline editor for variable speed effects.
Quick answers
These answers describe the actual upload, FFmpeg processing, download, and temporary-retention contract.
Yes. Available audio receives a matching tempo adjustment.
Yes. For example, 2x is about half the source duration and 0.5x is about twice as long.
No. This tool applies one multiplier to the entire timeline.
