MP4 is usually far more efficient than GIF, but H.264 is lossy and the result depends on the player for looping behavior.

The result is a silent H.264 MP4. GIF transparency is composited during conversion and does not remain as an alpha channel.

Autoplay and looping are controlled by the website or player, not stored as universal GIF-style behavior. Transparency is not preserved.

Will the MP4 loop automatically?

That depends on the destination player or HTML settings; MP4 itself does not force universal looping.

Does the MP4 have audio?

No. GIF has no audio source, so the result is silent.

Will transparency remain?

No. The H.264 MP4 output does not carry GIF transparency.
