Checking publication status...

01
No file upload

This operation runs with browser APIs. Nirmion receives catalogue requests, not the selected source bytes.

02
Original stays unchanged

The converter creates a separately named output. It never writes back into the source file.

03
Bounded work

Plain-language method

How PowerPoint to PDF works

The browser validates the OOXML archive, reconstructs every slide through a bounded PowerPoint renderer, waits for slide resources, captures the slide surface, and writes one separate PDF page for each slide.

  1. 01
    Choose a valid source

Use a current .pptx with saved charts and embedded or locally available fonts. Password-protected decks and legacy .ppt files are not supported.

  2. 02
    Review the conversion choices

Use standard on mobile or for image-heavy decks. High is useful for small labels when the source stays comfortably below the limits.

  3. 03
    Inspect the separate result

The _nirmion_tools.pdf follows slide order and aspect ratio. Speaker notes, animations, transitions, audio, video playback, editable objects, and interactive links are not carried into static PDF pages.

Useful when

Practical jobs this tool handles

  • Send a static deck review without a cloud converter.
  • Archive the visible state of an approved presentation.
  • Create a print-friendly slide handout source.

Before converting

Check the source and destination rules

  • Review custom fonts and chart labels.
  • Confirm hidden slides should remain in the source.
  • Compare every PDF page before distribution.

Know the boundary

Know what the destination format cannot keep

PowerPoint remains the reference renderer. SmartArt fallbacks, EMF or WMF artwork, unsupported effects, external media, and font substitution can differ. Use PowerPoint export for contractual or pixel-exact delivery.

Quick answers

Questions before you convert

The conversion contract is deliberately explicit.

Are animations preserved?

No. Each slide becomes one static PDF page.

Are speaker notes included?

No. This route converts visible slide surfaces only.

Does it upload the deck?

No. PPTX parsing, rendering, capture, and PDF creation run in this browser.
