Checking publication status...LOCAL DATA CONVERTER / CSV TO HTML TABLE
Create a standalone, escaped, responsive HTML table document from a rectangular CSV without interpreting cell text as markup.
Step 1 / source
Choose the rectangular csv table you want to turn into standalone html table.
Checking publication status...This operation runs with browser APIs. Nirmion receives catalogue requests, not the selected source bytes.
The converter creates a separately named output. It never writes back into the source file.
One UTF-8 .csv file up to 5 MB, 50,001 rows, 200 columns, 1,000,000 cells, and 20 MB output.
Plain-language method
The browser parses a rectangular delimited table, escapes every cell so source text cannot become executable markup, creates semantic th or td cells, adds a caption, viewport metadata, and restrained table styles, and writes one standalone HTML document.
Use consistent rows and balanced quoting. Cell HTML is treated as ordinary text for safety.
Enable Header row when row one names columns. The title appears in the browser tab and table caption.
The result ends in _nirmion_tools.html and can be opened locally. It does not require external CSS, fonts, scripts, or network requests.
WORKED EXAMPLE / REVIEW BEFORE RELYING
Use a short, non-sensitive sample first. This example shows the checkpoints to apply before moving an authorised dataset into the destination workflow.
Choose sample.csv with a header and two representative, non-sensitive records.
Keep the documented defaults, convert once, and compare the preview or result count with the CSV sample.
Open the separate HTML Table download and verify two records, field names, nulls, encoding, and destination compatibility.
Useful when
Before converting
Know the boundary
CSV cannot describe links, merged cells, multiple header levels, semantic data types, or rich formatting. All source values become escaped visible text.
Quick answers
The conversion contract is deliberately explicit.
No. Cell text and the title are escaped before writing the document.
No. The generated page is self-contained.
You may reuse the generated table markup, but review that site's styles and accessibility requirements.
