Calculation method
The source value is multiplied by its decimal ohm prefix factor and divided by the destination factor. Micro, milli, kilo, mega, and giga mean powers of ten; symbol case remains visible to distinguish milliohm from megaohm.

SI prefixes are case-sensitive. Lowercase m denotes milli, or 10^-3, while uppercase M denotes mega, or 10^6. Confusing milliohms and megaohms creates a billion-fold error.
