Important boundary

The tool numbers physical pages, not logical labels already stored in the PDF page tree. Existing headers or footers may overlap.

Can numbering start after 1?

Yes. Enter any starting whole number from 1 to 9,999; each next physical page increments it by one.

Can I number selected pages only?

Not in this version. Every physical page receives a label so the sequence remains consistent.

Will the tool detect an existing footer?

No. Choose a position and inspect the result for overlap with existing content.
