The converter parses balanced CSV, validates a rectangular header-based table, HTML-escapes tag characters, escapes pipes and backslashes, represents embedded line breaks with br elements, and writes one header, delimiter, and data-row sequence.

Markdown tables do not preserve CSV types, formulas, exact multiline semantics, column widths, or spreadsheet formatting. Large tables may be technically valid but hard to read.
