Round-Up Savings Projection
Estimate spare-change round-ups from named purchases to the next whole currency unit and inspect each contribution in a downloadable table.
A 3.40 coffee rounds up 0.60, an 8.15 lunch adds 0.85, and a 10.00 book adds zero: 1.45 total.

How to use the Round-Up Savings Projection
Use this to estimate how a set of everyday purchases could translate into a simple spare-change saving habit.
What to enter
Add a purchase label and paid amount per line, using one currency with two decimal places. Labels may repeat. Enter actual transaction totals if comparing with a provider.
Worked example
A 3.40 coffee rounds up 0.60, an 8.15 lunch adds 0.85, and a 10.00 book adds zero: 1.45 total.
How to read the result
The table gives each purchase’s incremental round-up. The summary sums those increments, not the purchase prices.
Method
Convert a purchase to cents, take its remainder modulo 100, and add the cents needed to reach the next whole unit; exact whole amounts add zero.
What to check
This is a projection, not a bank transfer. Provider round-up rules, exclusions, minimums, foreign exchange, and fees may differ.
Avoid this mistake
Rounding an exact whole amount to the next whole unit; this worksheet correctly adds zero for such a purchase.
Calculations run locally in your browser. No entered values are sent to the Nirmion API.
Questions to check
Why is a whole amount zero?
It is already at a whole-unit boundary, so no spare change remains.
Will it transfer savings?
No. Nothing leaves your account.
Can provider totals differ?
Yes. Providers can apply different eligibility and rounding rules.
