How to use the Working Hours Across Date Range

Use this to estimate a regular weekday schedule over a bounded range. Daily rows make it easier to spot a missing holiday or a wrong start and end time than a single total would.

  1. What to enter

Enter the inclusive date range, daily start and end clock times, and optional closures. Use one same-day time window for every eligible weekday in this calculation.

  2. Worked example

Four available days at 09:00–17:00 total 32 scheduled hours.

  3. How to read the result

Each result row shows a date, its clock window, and scheduled hours. The summary adds those hours across eligible weekdays; it does not show paid or payroll-approved time.

How the result is worked out

For each Monday–Friday not listed as closed, subtract the start clock time from the end clock time and add the scheduled hours.

What to check

These are wall-clock scheduled hours. Breaks, overtime, overnight work, holidays you did not enter, and daylight-saving changes are not calculated.

A common mistake to avoid

Unpaid breaks, overtime, overnight work, individual schedule changes, and daylight-saving elapsed time are outside the model. Check those separately before using the total for payroll.

Only dates you enter as holidays or closures are excluded; no country calendar is fetched.

This tool calculates in your browser. The dates you enter are not sent to the Nirmion API.

Questions to check

Why are weekends not counted?

This version uses a Monday–Friday schedule; use a different workflow for weekend or rotating shifts.

Are lunch breaks subtracted?

No. The tool uses the entire start-to-end window. Subtract breaks separately if you need net paid hours.

Can different days have different hours?

No. This version applies the same daily time window to every eligible weekday in the range.
