Calculation path

Nirmion converts the surface and tile dimensions to metres, divides surface area by one tile area, adds the selected allowance, and rounds up first to whole tiles and then to whole boxes.

Calculation path

Raw tiles = surface area / one tile area. Required tiles = raw tiles x (1 + allowance percentage), rounded up. Boxes = required tiles / tiles per box, rounded up.
