STEM REASONING AND EVIDENCE WORKBENCH

STEM Prerequisite Skill Analyzer

Map anonymous prerequisite evidence to target STEM skills and expose blocking dependencies under a teacher-defined rule.

Runs in this browser tabEditable downloadUp to 500 structured rows and 30,000 characters per field. Use anonymous or fictional labels.

Learning inputs

Build the stem prerequisite skill analyzer

Enter a fictional analysis label and a teacher-selected readiness percentage. Add target skill | prerequisite skill | attempted evidence count | correct evidence count | ready or review claim rows. Include at least two target skills and list each relevant dependency separately using aggregate or fictional evidence rather than identifiable learner records.

Generation uses only the information entered in this tab. It does not fetch sources or make student decisions.

Transparent method

How the stem prerequisite skill analyzer works

For each prerequisite, success percent equals correct evidence divided by attempted evidence times one hundred. Compare that percent with the entered threshold. A target is ready under this strict dependency rule only when every listed prerequisite meets the threshold; any below-threshold dependency appears by name instead of being hidden in a mean. A supported row matches the simple threshold classification, and a ready target means all represented dependencies clear that rule. Missing prerequisites, weak tasks, language demands, stale evidence, or accessibility barriers can still make the conclusion incomplete. Teachers should review the curriculum sequence and learner reasoning, offer reassessment, and record changes outside the browser.

  1. 01
    Before generation

Confirm the question, approved source, units, notation, signs, response coding, model assumptions, and review threshold. Keep an unchanged copy of measurements or learner evidence.

  2. 02
    During review

Run the worked example, inspect every intermediate row, and compare the result with a hand calculation, diagram, representation, periodic table, or approved laboratory method.

  3. 03
    Before use

Record the method, assumptions, uncertainty, units, classifications, and flagged rows. Verify the editable report independently before instruction, assessment, or laboratory use.

How to interpret the result

STEM Prerequisite Skill Analyzer

Before generation

Use before a new mathematics, physics, or chemistry sequence when the prerequisite map and recent checks have already been reviewed. The report prevents one strong prerequisite from averaging away another weak dependency. It does not discover the curriculum graph, diagnose a learner, prove causation, select placement, predict success, or authorize high-stakes grouping.

Worked example

The linear-systems prerequisites score 87.5 and 75 percent, so both meet a 75-percent rule. Projectile vector evidence reaches 80 percent, but quadratic-graph evidence reaches only 60, leaving that target blocked. Both mole-ratio prerequisites meet the rule. An entered ready claim for the weak graph prerequisite is flagged.

Formula or methodology

For each prerequisite, success percent equals correct evidence divided by attempted evidence times one hundred. Compare that percent with the entered threshold. A target is ready under this strict dependency rule only when every listed prerequisite meets the threshold; any below-threshold dependency appears by name instead of being hidden in a mean.

How to interpret the result

A supported row matches the simple threshold classification, and a ready target means all represented dependencies clear that rule. Missing prerequisites, weak tasks, language demands, stale evidence, or accessibility barriers can still make the conclusion incomplete. Teachers should review the curriculum sequence and learner reasoning, offer reassessment, and record changes outside the browser.

Common mistakes

Do not average prerequisites with different roles, infer a permanent trait from one check, confuse missing evidence with zero knowledge, choose a universal cut score, expose personal data, or block access without supported alternatives. Verify the dependency map, inspect item quality, triangulate evidence, provide instruction, and revisit the decision.

Learning boundary

A calculated signal still requires subject review

This browser-local workbench applies only the disclosed rules. It cannot diagnose a learner, certify an experiment, establish a chemical structure, or replace teacher, laboratory, and safety judgment.

Review checklist

Human review before educational use

  • Every value, symbol, unit, classification, date, and response matches the source evidence.
  • The disclosed model matches the course method and intended question.
  • Intermediate rows and conflicts have been inspected rather than using only the headline.
  • A teacher or learner verifies the report independently and records corrections.

Practical questions

STEM Prerequisite Skill Analyzer questions

Does Nirmion upload these inputs?

No. Processing occurs in the current browser tab. Avoid personal information and retain authoritative records only in the school-approved system.

Can this result prove understanding or a scientific law?

No. It describes entered evidence under one disclosed rule. Compare several evidence sources and ask for reasoning before drawing a conclusion.

Can I submit the downloaded report as finished work?

Treat it as an editable calculation aid. Show your own reasoning, cite required sources, and follow the course method and academic-integrity rules.
