How the review pack is built

The browser verifies and decodes each image, scales it proportionally into a clean grid, optionally adds a shortened filename label, exports contact-sheet.png, and packages it with byte-identical originals under images/ plus manifest.csv.

Choose a valid source
Select images in the order they should appear. Animated GIF is excluded because a static contact sheet cannot represent all frames honestly.

Review the conversion choices
More columns make a wider, denser grid. Larger thumbnails improve visual review but increase PNG dimensions and archive size.

Inspect the separate result
The ZIP contains contact-sheet.png, images/, and manifest.csv. The PNG is a review index; the archived originals retain full source quality.

Know the boundary

The overview is not the master artwork

Thumbnails are scaled into a PNG grid and may omit fine detail. Colour profiles, transparency appearance, and very long labels can look different; use the included originals for final production.

Are the archived originals resized?

No. Only contact-sheet.png contains scaled previews.

Why is GIF not accepted?

A single static thumbnail would not describe animation reliably.

How are wide and tall images fitted?

Each image is scaled proportionally and centred without cropping.
