The selected bytes are sent only to the Nirmion media API for this request. Processing uses a private temporary workspace rather than permanent catalogue storage.
Server-side source and result files are removed when the response stream closes. Re-downloads use the result Blob retained only in this browser tab.
Nirmion writes a separately named result containing nirmion_tools and never overwrites the selected source file.

FFmpeg scales and pads each clip to a common canvas, normalizes timing and audio, then concatenates the prepared streams in list order.
Play through every join, confirm ordering, and listen for expected audio continuity in the final MP4.
Plain-language method

The result is a 16:9 H.264 MP4. Silent clips receive silent audio for compatibility, but subtitles, chapters, and multiple audio tracks are not retained.
