Workflow guide

A deliberate image to pdf workflow

Place up to twenty ordered images on separate fitted A4 PDF pages while preserving each image's proportions. Review the final result rather than relying only on the settings.
A

What you need

Choose 1 to 20 still JPEG, PNG, or WebP images, each up to 20 MB. They are placed in selection order on separate A4 pages; use clear, correctly oriented sources.

B

Social-ready choices

This creates image-backed pages without OCR text. Check faces, text, logos, overlays, and the destination platform before publishing.

C

What you receive

Download a multi-page PDF after checking page order and orientation. Images are processed in your browser; temporary decoding memory is released when processing ends.

Decision guide

Decide when to package and when to preserve the source

Image to PDF is designed around ordered images on A4 pages. The right setting depends on the destination, viewing size, source quality, and whether later editing is expected.

This creates image-backed pages without OCR text. Browser processing avoids a Nirmion upload, but it does not change copies already stored on your device, in backups, or on publishing platforms.

Useful image to pdf scenarios

  1. Turn receipts, notes, or photographed pages into a shareable PDF; the pages remain image-based until you run OCR separately.
  2. Place product images or design proofs into a consistent A4 review packet while keeping the original files unchanged.
  3. Assemble ordered visual references for a review or submission, and check that the recipient accepts image-based PDF pages.

Good to know

Important image boundaries

Why might a PNG not become smaller?
PNG is lossless and browsers do not expose a quality control for it. Choose WebP or JPEG when reducing file size matters more than exact lossless pixels.
Are animated images supported?
No. The workspace accepts still JPEG, PNG, and WebP files. Re-encoding an animated source would otherwise keep only one frame.
What does clearing the file mean?
Because processing is local, there is no Nirmion server copy to delete. The tab releases its working references after success; your downloaded output remains on your device.
