Temporary server workspace

How clips become one compatible timeline

Normalization requires re-encoding all clips. Mixed aspect ratios can produce padding, and mixed loudness is not automatically mastered.

Container and codec

Understand the output format

The result is a 16:9 H.264 MP4. Silent clips receive silent audio for compatibility, but subtitles, chapters, and multiple audio tracks are not retained.

Know the boundary

This is a straightforward sequential merge

There are no transitions, crossfades, overlays, loudness matching, or timeline layers. Use a full editor when creative sequencing or detailed audio mixing is required.

Can I change the clip order?

Yes. Use Earlier and Later before processing; the numbered list is the merge order.

What happens when a clip has no audio?

The service synthesizes silence so clips with and without audio can share one compatible timeline.

Will portrait clips be stretched?

No. They are proportionally fitted and padded inside the selected landscape canvas.
