TEMPORARY MEDIA WORKSPACE / ID3 TAG GENERATOR
Create a separately tagged MP3 by copying its audio stream and replacing metadata with bounded ID3v2.3 title, artist, album, track, and genre values.
The processor required by this tool is available, and this worker can accept a temporary job.

The selected bytes are sent only to the Nirmion media API for this request. Processing uses a private temporary workspace rather than permanent catalogue storage.
Server-side source and result files are removed when the response stream closes. Re-downloads use the result Blob retained only in this browser tab.
Nirmion writes a separately named result containing nirmion_tools and never overwrites the selected source file.
Know the product contract
Every media page documents the accepted source, the selected FFmpeg transformation, the output container, and the limits that can affect the job.
Confirm the source is the intended MP3 and verify the title, credits, album, track sequence, and genre against an authoritative record.
FFmpeg copies the primary MP3 audio stream, removes inherited metadata, and writes only the entered ID3v2.3 fields.
Inspect the result in the actual library or player because applications can map genre and track tags differently.
Plain-language method
Audio is not re-encoded, but artwork, chapters, lyrics, comments, and unselected custom frames are not preserved.

Use consistent spelling and capitalization; leave unknown optional values blank.

Before processing
Container and codec
The output remains MP3, copies the primary audio stream without re-encoding, and writes ID3v2.3 metadata for practical compatibility.
Know the boundary
Metadata can be edited and is not a substitute for rights records, provenance, or an authenticity signature.
