Prepare the evidence

Paste the documented CSV schema or choose a local CSV file. Nothing is sent to Nirmion.

Rows older than this number of days are flagged for review. The tool does not automatically update evidence.

Use metadata only. Never include passwords, PINs, CVVs, tokens, recovery codes, security answers, or full account numbers.

Method and interpretation

How to use Financial Account Inventory Builder

Use this builder to document where household financial accounts exist, what each account is for, who owns it, and when its metadata was reviewed. The export can support an emergency file or periodic household review without turning a planning document into a password vault.

  1. Prepare the input

Include institution, account label, type, owner, optional last four digits, purpose, beneficiary-review note, autopay state, statement day, review date, and a non-sensitive contact note. Leave last four blank or provide exactly four digits. Never add passwords, PINs, CVVs, full numbers, recovery codes, answers, tokens, or secrets.

  2. Check the worked example

The example includes checking, emergency savings, retirement, and a credit card. One older card review is stale under the 365-day threshold. Retirement includes a beneficiary-review note. Optional last four digits are masked in output.

  3. Read the evidence

The completion score checks owner, purpose, review date, autopay state, and beneficiary review for eligible account types. Inspect stale reviews, possible duplicates, and action checklists. Summary rows reveal concentrated ownership or account types, while the inventory remains the evidence to verify with statements.

Calculation method

Each row receives one point for owner, purpose, review date, autopay state, and either a beneficiary note or a non-eligible account type. The tool checks review age, duplicate institution/name/last-four combinations, statement-day range, and prohibited sensitive-data headers. It rejects unsafe last-four values rather than truncating them.

Questions this workflow helps answer

Use these questions to confirm that this tool matches the task you need to complete.

  • How can I create a personal financial inventory worksheet without storing credentials?
  • Which financial accounts are missing owners, purposes, review dates, or beneficiary checks?
  • How can a household distinguish accounts safely using optional masked last-four digits?

Limits and decision boundary

This is an inventory, not legal estate planning, ownership verification, beneficiary designation, account aggregation, or secure secret storage. A complete score means fields were populated, not that the information is correct. Store and share the downloaded file according to its sensitivity.

Common mistake

Do not paste a password-manager export or full bank statement. Create a minimal metadata file and use the institution’s secure systems for authentication and beneficiary changes.

Your pasted values and selected CSV files are processed in this browser tab. This workflow does not connect to a bank, save a budget, or provide financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.

Questions about this workflow

Why are only the last four digits allowed?

They can help distinguish accounts without placing a full financial identifier in the worksheet. The value is optional and masked in output.

Where should passwords be stored?

Use a reputable password manager or the institution’s supported recovery process. This workflow deliberately rejects credential-style columns.

Does a beneficiary note change the real designation?

No. It only records that a review occurred. Make changes directly with the account provider and obtain confirmation.
