The converter creates a separately named output. It never writes back into the source file.
One file up to 100 MB. The new extension may contain letters, numbers, hyphens, or one dot and is limited to 20 characters; executable and script extensions are blocked.
Plain-language method
Nirmion copies every source byte into a separate download and replaces only the filename suffix. The output MIME is treated as generic because an extension alone cannot prove the file format.
Use this when a known file was saved with the wrong suffix, such as a plain-text export labelled .dat. Use MIME Type Checker first when the real format is uncertain.
Enter a safe suffix such as txt, csv, jpeg, or tar.gz. High-risk executable and script suffixes are rejected.
The new name ends in _nirmion_tools_relabelled followed by your extension. File size and checksum remain unchanged.
