PDF · THE NO-PANIC PLAN

Turn phone images into a readable PDF under 10 MB

This guide is for combining ordinary JPEG or PNG scans/photos into one PDF for an upload that must be under 10 MB. Confirm the receiving site accepts image-based PDFs and the file-size limit; converting an image does not make its text searchable or verify that the document is acceptable. Nirmion's Image to PDF tool fits up to 20 selected images onto A4 PDF pages; inspect the output because fit, margins and image quality can change its appearance. PDF files are processed in request memory and no server-side job history is created, but do not upload sensitive identity, medical, financial, legal or confidential images to a general-purpose utility.

MISSION Help someone combine ordered phone images into one readable PDF, verify the page sequence and content, then reduce the file size only as much as needed to meet a 10 MB upload limit.

Create a PDF from your ordered images

THE REAL-WORLD BIT

What happens outside this browser tab?

Confirm the destination's exact PDF and size rules; select only the required images and arrange them in page order; check image orientation, crop, legibility and completeness; create an A4 PDF from the ordered images; inspect every page and the output size; if it exceeds 10 MB, compress a separate copy conservatively and recheck that text and details remain readable before uploading.

YOUR CHECKLIST, WITH FEWER DRAMATIC SIGHES

One step at a time.

Follow the order below. If a step names a Nirmion tool, its link is right there with it.

  1. 01

Check the destination's file and page requirements

Read the receiving portal's current instructions for accepted formats, maximum file size, page dimensions, colour, signature and whether it requires searchable/OCR text. Confirm the 10 MB limit means 10,000,000 bytes or 10 MiB if the site specifies which. If it accepts only a native document or searchable PDF, an image-only conversion may not meet the requirement; use the requested format or a suitable OCR process instead. Keep a clean copy of the source photos and do not use a general conversion service for confidential, identity, health, financial or legal records.

  2. 02

Select and order complete, readable images

Choose only the pages that belong in the final packet. Check each image is a supported, clear JPEG or PNG, shows the full page without a cropped signature or edge, and is not a duplicate or unrelated photo. Rotate pages upright and arrange the filenames or selection order to match the intended reading sequence before conversion. Retake or rescan a blurred, shadowed or cut-off page rather than sharpening it beyond recognition. If the packet contains more than 20 images, split it into the portal's permitted parts or use a different verified workflow; do not silently omit pages.

  3. 03

Check resolution and page layout before combining

Open each image at normal reading size and confirm names, dates, numbers, seals and handwritten marks remain legible. Avoid repeatedly resaving JPEGs, which can degrade text. The Nirmion converter fits images onto A4 pages, so compare the image aspect ratio with the page layout: a long receipt, landscape page or small source may gain margins or appear smaller. If the receiving portal requires a different page size, exact scaling or a certified scan, use that portal's instructions instead of assuming an A4 fit is compliant.

  4. 04

Create the PDF from the ordered images

Open Image to PDF and add the selected image files in the order you want them to appear. The tool accepts up to 20 images and creates fitted A4 PDF pages. Check the displayed file list before starting; remove any wrong or duplicate image and confirm the total count. Run the conversion and download the newly created PDF as a separate file. If the resulting PDF is not produced, does not open, or reports a validation error, correct the source images and retry with the official tool rather than renaming the image files to a PDF extension.

  5. 05

Inspect the result and meet the 10 MB limit without losing detail

Open the downloaded PDF and inspect every page in order at normal zoom. Confirm there are no missing, blank, sideways, cropped or unreadable pages, then check the actual file size in your device's file details. If it is over the destination's limit, use PDF Compressor to create a separate smaller copy; select a lighter compression setting for text, signatures, diagrams or small print, and avoid any setting that makes required details hard to read. Open the compressed copy and repeat the page-by-page check. Upload only when the final file is within the portal's limit and every required page remains legible; keep the original images and successful PDF until the portal confirms receipt.
