Temporary server workspace

The selected bytes are sent only to the Nirmion media API for this request. Processing uses a private temporary workspace rather than permanent catalogue storage.

Server-side source and result files are removed when the response stream closes. Re-downloads use the result Blob retained only in this browser tab.

Nirmion writes a separately named result containing nirmion_tools and never overwrites the selected source file.

  • Remember that GIF cannot contain audio.

The output is an animated GIF with an optimized palette and infinite loop. It does not include an audio track.

GIF is inefficient for long or detailed video

A long, high-frame-rate, colorful GIF can be much larger than the source clip. Use MP4 when playback controls, audio, or efficient compression matter.

Will the GIF include sound?

No. The GIF format does not carry an audio stream.

Why is the GIF sometimes large?

Does it loop automatically?

Yes. The generated GIF is configured to loop continuously.
