EDUCATION DECISION WORKBENCH
Calculate weighted criterion contributions while preserving the awarded and maximum level for each row.

Transparent method
Criterion contribution = criterion weight × awarded level ÷ maximum level. Weighted result = sum of contributions. Display rounding is applied only after the exact total. The result reflects entered decisions. Review criterion evidence and moderation before using the percentage. A weighted percent may not map directly to a letter grade.
Use an approved rubric with clear descriptors.
Score criteria from evidence and moderate uncertain judgments.
Apply the authorized reporting and rounding policy.
How to interpret the result
Use this after criterion-level scoring when different criteria carry different importance or use different maximum levels.
Four criteria weighted 35, 30, 20, and 15 percent receive levels 3/4, 4/4, 2/4, and 3/4. Contributions are 26.25, 30, 10, and 11.25 for 77.5%.
Do not average raw levels when maxima or weights differ, round each row too early, use weights that do not total 100, or let the calculator score learner work.
Learning boundary
The tool totals entered levels. It does not read work, choose a level, or establish a grade boundary.

Practical questions
Different criteria may use different maxima; score divided by maximum puts each on a comparable scale.
Yes, if the approved rubric permits them.
Only the authorized grading policy can map the percentage to a reported grade.
